The Office of Diversity and Inclusion (OD&I)’s goal is to foster a diverse and inclusive workforce in the House of Representatives. To help accomplish this mission, the OD&I may refer individuals for open positions in employing offices.

Your information will be reviewed by professional staff and your résumé may be made available to hundreds of House employing offices. 

Application Process

Personnel selections are made at the discretion of individual House employing entities and not the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. You will be contacted directly by an employing office if your information indicates a possible match with their personnel needs.

Applicant information submitted through the Majority Leaders's resume bank or directly to the Office of Diversity and Inclusion will remain on file for up to one year. Resumes submitted to the Republican resume bank will be removed in 60 days. Please note, submitting an application does not guarantee job acceptance or placement. Transportation and all related travel expenses associated with the interview and hiring process must be paid by the applicant. Additionally, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion cannot assist in moving or relocation expenses.

Use of Demographic Information

As part of the application process, you may be asked to provide, on a strictly voluntary basis, demographic information. Your responses will not be released to individual employing offices, hiring officials, or anyone else who can affect your application. This information is used solely to determine if our recruitment efforts are reaching a broad range of the population. No personnel selections are made based on this information.
